Abeba Birhane
Senior Fellow in Trustworthy AI at Mozilla Foundation | Adjunct Lecturer/Assistant Professor at Trinity College Dublin
Abeba Birhane’s recent work in responsible and ethical AI, human behavior, and social systems has earned her recognition from Wired UK and a place on the TIME100 Most Influential People in AI List. Currently, she is also bringing her knowledge and expertise in cognitive science and AI to the United Nations Secretary-General’s AI Advisory Body and the newly-convened AI Advisory Council in Ireland.

Carolyn Rosé, PhD
Professor, Program Director for the Masters of Computational Data Science at Carnegie Mellon University
Dr. Carolyn Rosé is dedicated to bettering the understanding of the social and pragmatic nature of conversation, as well as using this understanding as a jumping off point to build computational systems that improve conversation both between people, and between people and computers.

Kate Soule
Program Director for Generative AI Research at IBM
Kate Soule’s current work puts her at the leading edge of the industry. Currently, she oversees the development and incubation of IBM’s Generative AI technologies, including their Large Language Models. Prior to her current role, Kate was a leader at the MIT-IBM Watson AI Lab, where she ran the Lab’s corporate membership program, supporting industry members as they co-invested in the Lab’s AI research technologies.

Anna Goldie
Senior Staff Research Scientist at Google DeepMind
Anna Goldie is a Senior Staff Research Scientist at Google DeepMind, where she works on Large Language Model (LLM) research in Gemini & Bard. Previously, she worked on Reinforcement Learning (RL) for LLMs and retrieval-augmented LLMs at Anthropic and was co-founder/lead of the ML for Systems team in Google Brain. Her RL methods have been used in multiple generations of Google’s flagship AI accelerator (TPU). Her published works include peer-reviewed articles in top scientific venues, including Nature, NeurIPS, ICLR, EMNLP, ISPD, ASPLOS, and MLCAD. She was named one of MIT Technology Review’s 35 Innovators Under 35, and her work has been covered in various media outlets, including CNBC, IBTimes, IEEE Spectrum, MIT Technology Review, WIRED and ABC News.

He is one of the most cited authors in computer science, co-founded several significant companies, and has been on advisory boards for Google, AT&T, and UN Secretary-General.

Rudina Seseri is the Founder and Managing Partner of Glasswing Ventures, leading the firm’s investments in AI-enabled enterprise SaaS, cloud, IT software, and vertical markets. Rudina has led investments and/or served on the Board of Directors of several companies including Reprise, Verusen, ChaosSearch, Basetwo, Inrupt, and FeatureByte.
In addition to her almost 20 years of investing and operational experience in high-growth AI and Frontier Technology companies, Rudina has been appointed an Executive Fellow at Harvard Business School (HBS), is an inaugural member of the HBS Rock Venture Capital Partners and serves on the board of directors of M&T Bank, MSC Industrial Supply, and the New England Venture Capital Association.
