Our renowned Keynote Speakers will help you navigate this ever-changing (and exciting) landscape.

Sergey Levine, PhD

Associate Professor, Computer Science at UC Berkeley | Co-founder at Physical Intelligence

Session: Reinforcement Learning with Large Datasets: a Path to Resourceful Autonomous Agents

Sergey Levine’s focus is on machine learning for decision-making and control, with an emphasis on deep learning and reinforcement learning algorithms.

His work has applications in autonomous robots and vehicles, among other decision-making domains. His research includes developing algorithms for end-to-end training of deep neural network policies that combine perception and control, scalable algorithms for inverse reinforcement learning, and deep reinforcement learning algorithms.

Nick Becker

Technical Product Manager at NVIDIA

Session: From AI to Data Processing: The Next Phase of Accelerated Computing

Nick Becker is the head of product for the RAPIDS AI team at NVIDIA, where his efforts are focused on building the GPU-accelerated data science ecosystem, and related software portfolio.

His career has spanned both technology and government. Prior to NVIDIA, he worked at Enigma Technologies, a data science startup. Before that, he conducted economics research and forecasting at the Federal Reserve Board of Governors, the central bank of the United States.

Benjamin Mann

Co-founder at Anthropic

Benjamin Mann is a co-founder and member of the technical staff at Anthropic. He was previously a member of the technical staff at OpenAI, where he worked on infrastructure, efficiency, and safety for the popular LLM, GPT-3.

Before that, Mann was a senior software engineer at Google, where he helped build Google’s carpooling service Waze Carpool. He has also worked at research organizations like the Machine Intelligence Research Institute and startups focusing on AI and automation.

Chip Huyen

VP of AI & OSS at Voltron Data

In her current role, Chip Huyen works to accelerate data analytics on GPUs at Voltron Data. She also advises companies on building AI platforms.

Previously, she was with Snorkel AI and NVIDIA, founded an AI infrastructure startup (acquired), and taught Machine Learning Systems Design at Stanford.

Her many achievements include authoring the book, Designing Machine Learning Systems, an Amazon bestseller in AI and contributing to the launch of Coc Coc — Vietnam’s second most popular web browser with 20+ million monthly active users.

Dr. Alfred Spector

Visiting Scholar at MIT | Senior Advisor at Blackstone

Session: Beyond Models — Applying AI and Data Science Effectively

Dr. Alfred Spector’s career has led him from innovation in large scale, networked computing systems to broad engineering and research leadership. He is a co-author of the Cambridge University Press textbook, “Data Science in Context: Foundations, Challenges, Opportunities.”

Spector is also a Fellow of both the ACM and the IEEE. He is a member of the National Academy of Engineering and the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and recipient of the 2001 IEEE Kanai Award for Distributed Computing and the 2016 ACM Software Systems Award.

Dr. Ali Arsanjani

Director of Applied AI Engineering, Head of AI Center of Excellence at Google Cloud

Dr. Ali Arsanjani is the Director of Applied AI Engineering at Google Cloud, and Head of the AI Center of Excellence, where he leads the development of strategic co-innovation partnerships in the fields of Generative AI, Data/Analytics & Predictive AI/ML. Dr. Arsanjani is also an Adjunct Professor at San Jose State University and the University of California, San Diego, where he teaches and advises students in the Masters in Data program and the Data Science Institute, respectively.

Previously, Ali was the Head of Machine Learning & Worldwide TechLeader for AWS AI / ML specialist solution architects. Before AWS, Ali was an IBM Distinguished Engineer and CTO for Analytics and Machine Learning at IBM for over 22 years.
