Venture Capital Companies Attending the ODSC East AI Startup Showcase
Although investment in AI startups has been increasing year-over-year since at least 2019, it can still be difficult for startups to find investors, particularly ones who are compatible with the goals and mission of the startup. At ODSC East’s AI Startup Showcase, early-stage startups will have the opportunity to meet one-on-one with up to 10 investors for 20 minutes, creating the opportunity for you to get valuable experience pitching your company and possibly securing a meeting to continue the discussion after the conference. Battery Ventures
Battery Ventures was founded in 1983, which today has offices in six locations: Boston, Menlo Park, San Francisco, London, New York City, and Herzliya. Since its founding Battery has raised more than $9 billion. It has also identified four core areas of focus: consumer, application software, industrial tech, and infrastructure software. To support the companies they invest in, Battery Ventures has developed expertise in areas such as “recruiting and human resources; branding and communications; business development; scaling IT infrastructure; and growth and leadership.” With approximately 400 companies in its portfolio, Battery Ventures has helped many startups become successful.
